Let the Kids Play, 2024-

“Let the Kids Play” a series that focuses on black joy, imagination and trauma through the lens of my children. It’s a reclamation of the joy that has been stolen from children of color for centuries. The idea around having to grow up fast due to circumstances. The reality of children of color dying at alarmingly fast rates. As well as the lack of art children of color are exposed to which prohibits them from being able to dream big and express themselves.
